Multiple photos showing backplate of the second generation of iPad mini have been leaked online. As evident in the images, the backplate is made up of aluminum and is thicker than its predecessor. The increase in thickness could be because of Retina display or the company may pack bigger battery into the iPad Mini 2. And since the original iPad mini was released back in October, it is possible that Apple is now testing the improved iPad Mini.

Most of you will argue about the blue color of the Apple logo and may consider the shell as completely fake. What do you think? Any thought?
