Apple today released iOS 6.1.3 beta 2 (build 10B318) to registered developers, the latest development step for Apple to address minor issues besides offering stability improvements over iOS 6.1.2. Per reports, this latest build is actually iOS 6.1.1, development of which was sidelined to fix 3G network bug and address Microsoft Exchange Meetings blunder as iOS 6.1.2.
Per release notes for the original beta version, iOS 6.1.3 beta2 focuses on Maps improvements for Japan. No new mega feature has been spotted nor called out by Apple in the iOS 6.1.3 beta 2 change log.
Developers with Apple membership Program can directly download iOS 6.1.3 beta 2 Build 10B318 via Apple’s Developer page. Those who can’t hold their appetite for public release, can sign up with Apple developer program for $99 and download iOS 6.1.3 beta2 right now for iPad 2 (3G, WiFi), iPad 3 (3G, WiFi), iPad 4 (3G, WiFi), iPad Mini, iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4 (GSM, CDMA), iPhone 3GS, and iPod touch 4G/5G, models. Apple TV has been excluded from this update.
Note Before you download and install iOS 6.1 beta 2 onto your iOS device, it is highly recommended to backup your data.
Warning After you install iOS 6.1.3 BETA 2 on any of the supported device, you’ll not be able to restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to earlier version of iOS IPSW.
