It’s officially confirmed! The Korean electronics giant will unveil the Galaxy S IV at an event on March 14th, as tends to be the case, already plenty of details have emerged surrounding what will be announced. In comments made at Mobile World Congress 2013, mobile division chief JK Shin revealed that the Galaxy S IV smartphone will be introduced to the world at a Samsung Unpacked event in New York City.

Yes! It’s again on Apple’s turf in the US since the original Galaxy S was launched back in 2010. He quoted saying:
“We introduced the Galaxy S III in London last year, and this time we changed the venue (to New York)… as we were bombarded with requests from U.S. mobile carriers to unveil the Galaxy S IV in the country,”
Little is known about the device, but S4 is expected to pack a 4.99-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 440 ppi, a 2.5 GHz quad-core Exynos 5450 processor assisted by the integrated Mali-T658 GPU, 2 GB of RAM, a 13 megapixel rear camera with flash, a 2 Megapixel Front Facing Camera. The device could be launched on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean out of the box.
