Circle your calendars people because Samsung has started sending out invites for an Unpacked event set to happen on March 14 at New York. The event is scheduled to start at 7:00 PM EST (check the time in your City here). Much of the recent rumor points towards the Samsung Galaxy S4 becoming official at the event. But we will have to wait until March 14 rolls around to see exactly what Samsung has up its sleeve.
The invite doesn’t say much aside from the date, time and venue of the event. But if you take a closer look, the invite says “Ready 4 The Show” with the ’4′ a hint that the next generation Galaxy S4 is on its way. Even, Samsung’s mobile chief JK Shin confirmed just hours ago that the Galaxy S IV will indeed get officially unveiled on March 14th in New York.
The Galaxy S4 is rumored to pack a 4.99-inch Full HD AMOLED touchscreen display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 440 ppi, an eight-core Exynos 5 Octa processor, 2GB of RAM, 13-megapixel camera running on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean OS. However, these specs are not confirmed at this time either.
Typical to Samsung Unpacked events, we’re expecting a live stream that accessible to the public. We’ll be there, of course, bringing you live coverage of the Galaxy S IV — as it’s unveiled.
