A developer has successfully ported Sense 5 into the DROID DNA. The XDA-developers port gives users a flashable ZIP file that lets users get the Sense 5.0. After installing it, you will get the BlinkFeed, Android 4.1.2, and a Beastmode kernel. Expectations shouldn’t be set too high though – HTC Zoe is currently unavailable and camera work is awful but developer is hard at work to iron out the remaining bugs.
As with other such hacks, the install comes at the user’s own risk. It’s known to work when successfully implemented, however. You’ll find more at the source links below if you fancy trying it out for yourselves. And yes! Your Droid DNA must be rooted and running a custom recovery in order to flash this zip file.
Don’t try this unless you’re willing to tinker with your phone.
