The developers at CyanogenMod lab have finally released the first CM10.1 nightly build for the Nexus 7 (grouper) tablet and GSM variant of the Galaxy Nexus (maguro). Earlier today, CM10.1 nightlies downloads was made available for the ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity (tf700t). The rest of the devices will be getting 10.1 (Android 4.2) builds until the developers finish merging AOSP 4.2 code and flip the switch for everybody.
Developers or skilled modders can grab a CM10.1 nightly release of the ROM from CyanogenMod’s official download channel and take it for a spin. Other users might want to wait at least until there’s a release candidate version.

As a quick reminder, nightly builds are the bleeding edge, aren’t the same as “stable” builds with few features missing. Don’t forget to back up your current ROM before flashing a new one on your Nexus 7 device. And if you are already running a CyanogenMod 10.1 nightly on your Nexus 7 already? Are there any serious bugs or issues that anyone thinking of flashing their Nexus 10 might want to know about?
