BlackBerry 10 is officially coming on the 30th of January at Pier 36 in New York City at a event. RIM has sent out press invite which says “You can see it first”. The press invite doesn’t boast about BlackBerry 10 but just provided a tagline which says, “Re-designed. Re-engineered. Re-invented”. RIM earlier announced last month that it would launch BlackBerry 10 on January 30.
Till to date, little is known about the new smartphone. Past rumours suggest that RIM could unveil a full iPhone-esque touch-screen device and another that could resemble its current Bold handset. Full touch screen model could arrive with a removable scratch resistant back cover which houses NFC antenna, micro-SIM and microSD slots, along with a removable 1,800mAh battery. Last week, multiple pictures of BlackBerry 10 L-Series got leaked corroborating our claims that such full touch screen blackberry device do exists.

Per RIM (Research In Motion), BlackBerry 10 Technical Preview program has started and government and enterprise customers can beta test the upcoming operating system features. A new BlackBerry 10 feature called ‘Notebooks’ (folder-like object that contains notebook entries) will likely be demoed at the January 30 event. The revamped BlackBerry OS will also include new features in addition to improvements in existing applications, such as e-mail, contacts, and calendars.
